Aaron Bundy is Board Certified for Family Law Trials

Trial skills are the foundation for everything we do.

Aaron Bundy was just re-certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy for Family Trial Law. Board certification is one of his most treasured accomplishments, as it is a true, objective measure of both quantity and quality. The minimum threshold number of trials and courtroom time to qualify is challenging. The NBTA also requires independent information about work products through a lengthy written application and private submissions by attorneys and judges who have firsthand knowledge of the attorney’s performance. And there is a test. The 5-year recertification requirement is significant too. A qualifying attorney may not simply rest on their laurels and maintain their status.

There are many trash, fake badges and awards out there (“Distinguished Lawyers,” “Litigation Counsel,” and “The National Trial Lawyers”) that have almost succeeded in their unspoken mission: dilute and destroy the value of the few real objective indicators of quality. It’s important for the real ones, like the NBTA, to maintain their high standards and ensure legitimacy and meaning for qualifying attorneys and their clients.
